comment: 13 by Universal Records | Here's the newest and most awaited Kamikazee album titled "Maharot" -- one musical package as exhilirating and intriguing as the The song is actually a metaphor of true love that is sadly unrequited. The "Narda" music video directed by Ace Enriquez recently premiered on Myx with rave reviews. "Chicksilog" is another hit potential from the "Maharot" album released by Universal Records.
The band's playful, restless and boundless energy; wild imagination and consistent creativity are very evident on songs like "Sobrang Init", "A.I.D.S..", "Shoot Dat Bol", "Ambisyoso", "Discoskwela", "Apir Day", "My Tender Bear" and "K.K.K."
Kamikazee is Allan "Bords" Burdeos on drums. Jason "Puto" Astete on bass, Led Tuyay on guitars, Jomal Linao on guitars and second vocals, and Jay Contreras who performs his own stunts while on lead vocals.
The band first caught the alternative audience fancy through their first hit "Chinelas". The song crossover to mainstream Pinoy music scene, so Kamikazee soon became a nationwide sensation.
Their indescribable stage antics and fine musicality have given them Best Live Act awards from different groups, including the NU Rock awards which also honored Allan as drummer of the year.
Kamikazee's cover of Britney Spear's "Lucky" gave them the Best Music Video plum at the MTV Pilipinas Music Awards 2003. All band members are from the U.P. Fine Arts Department, so their common love for fun and music. It's not surprising that the group conceptualized their album sleeve which features Eula Valdez in sexy poses, including on the "Maharot" "red hot" poster.
Kaye Abad supplied back-up vocals, while Chito Miranda wrote additional lyrics.

Listening to Squeezers is the aural equivalent of thinking happy thoughts. While it does not make you fly like that boy from Neverland, their music, at the very least, brings a smile to your face. The Taguig City-based quartet's current lineup consists of Byron Ricamara on vocals and guitar, Judith Abad on bass, Jeremy John Ricamara on drums and Clifford Jongko on guitar. The band's music can be best described as "fun rock." The positivity is present even in its most poignant moments-the band's carrier single "Nagbabalik" being a case in point-and is most felt in the album and show-opener "Field Trip," a song about, well, grade school field trips. The theme is carried though Highway Eskinita, the band's debut album, from the beginning until the epic 10-minute title track. Listening to the album just might be the most fun-filled hour in your life.
Squeezers is currently working on promoting the album including mall shows, bar gigs, and had made appearances in various media including radio and television. When not doing promotions the band is writing and developing material for a follow-up release. Some of the new songs are being performed during their shows, so make sure to catch them when you can.
The band's current album, Highway Eskinita, includes ten songs and features the singles "Nagbabalik" and "Paminsan-Minsan Lang Naman," released under Gusi Records and distributed by D'Concorde Recording Corp, available nationwide at all Odyssey and SM Record Bars branches nationwide.
